However despite this they are numerous advantages that an electronic book has over printed books, electronic books are becoming increasingly popular with people who have poor eyesight as they can adjust the size of the lettering of an electronic book with great easy, whereas they would need to buy a large print copy of a printed book, plus partially sighted or blind people can use specialised programs to convert text to speech resulting in an instant audio book.

Also, a major advantage of the electronic book is that it takes up less physical space than a printed book as a hard driver roughly the same size as a small hard back book can hold many thousands of electronic books. However storing many books on one device could be problematic is that device was damaged or stolen, although back up copies of e-books can be created quickly.
